i keep this in my pic galler on phone so i always got it . its a little awkward goin into it blind. dont screw zero stop down too snug or when you loosen the cap screws to bring #0 back to line the cap will slip up due to the preload you screwed into it and zero stop will be off by .1 which is not a killer @100 but were all kinda perfectionist on here i think."its the nature of the beast"

That's for the 3.5-18x50 the 3-18x42 the OP asked about doesn't have those features.

Gen 4 instructions,if its got push button illum. Reticle large top knob.,don't know what gen you got
