These cave dwelling goat fuckers just keep missing a few simple things that would make this all go away - stop fucking with Americans, and anyone else for that fact, leave others alone and respect their life choices.
It has happened once that I recall... the Stutcx-net Virus (I mis-spelled that.) And that was not a spanking, since it did not become public until years later.
But Desert One was a fiasco... noble effort. But a fail. Canada did a good job sneaking out a few hostages. And Ross Perot did great getting his team out. But, really, they were never spanked. Ever. They killed our people everywhere from Beirut Marine embassies to West German Nightclubs.... they killed 608 U.S. Soldiers directly and with clear attribution during Iraq war. They orchestrated the Indian Hotel terrorist hit that killed dozens.
And noone has EVER spanked back. Not at all. So, like a recalcitrant two-year-old... they will escalate their behavior until taught otherwise.
They are an out of control radical, violent theocracy which believes that their attacks are ordained by their diety. And that anyone who is not with them is fodder for being killed. Period.
Whatever the Raison d'etre for such regimes, they must be stamped out by any means necessary and their ideology similarly stamped out. That ideology is not Islam. That ideology is radical fundamentalist perversion of Islam... as preached by a few, mostly mentally-unstable, clerics and firebrands. And that is one of the flaws in Islam... not the scriptures themselves. But the fact that it has no actual bureaucracy or controlling influence on any of its various sects or even individual mosques. If you are the most charismatic leader... and you have the best ability to rally the faithful (to YOUR cause...) then you are good to go.
Ummmm... charismatic speakers with insane ideas and an ability to get an otherwise intelligent and advanced people to put their energies towards militarism and exterminating other races... What could go wrong? And... where have we heard that before?
And to address my friend Veer's contention that I wish to rain pork products down on the innocent or peaceful.... Well, pork products are tasty and delicious. But if someone don't want them, I have no desire to make them consume or even contact. In fact, you are probably more familiar with the Sepoy Rebellion and one of the causes... the lubrication of bullets... But I digress. I am all for letting the peaceful of all religions live as long as they let live. I'm not religious... at all. Physics is my religion. But I RESPECT the living heck out of religion and the religious. Until that religion is used by a few to motivate attacks on others. And that is exactly what the preachers of radical Islam are doing. They are using religion against us. Turning people into smart weapons by promising them virgins in their afterlife... and telling their idiot Semtex-tuxedo-wearing followers that the infidels they kill will serve them in the afterlife. By telling them that it is their duty to kill the Infidel... or that their God sanctions lying, drinking and ignoring religious precepts in the subversion and killing of those deemed to be infidels. In other words... they are weaponizing religion and using it to send stupid, easily-led and (honestly) people who have nothing better to live for.... to die for their power grabs. Because that is what they have. Not religious bliss or peace. But power.
As such, I 100 Percent advocate the turning of religious precepts (that are already perverted)... against the so-called Armies of God who are following them. Opening move "You kill infidels, you go to heaven where they serve you in the afterlife." Counter Move "you yell 'Allah Akbar" and we will not only shoot you cold, but we'll stuff a pork chop down your gullet as you lie dead on the battlefield... and you won't get your virgins or your servants..." Heck, if I'd been running Nuremberg, I'd have ordered every single Nazi %$#@#er to have a giant Star of David branded on their forehead and have a Yarmulka nailed to their skull... Instead, they got to slink away from their crimes and end up running Mercedes dealerships. (I know... we needed them to wage the Cold War and build Saturn V's... but you get my point.) One of the best 'endings' of WW2 was ensuring that Hideki Tojo survived his attempted Hara-Kiri with a pistol so that he could be hanged... in disgrace. While in jail he was provided with a set of dentures that had the words "Remember Pearl Harbor" carved in them in morse code. Instead of dying for the Emperor in an honorable way, Hanging that turd sent a message the same as Tokyo firebombings, Hiroshima and Nagasaki. All of which were great military decisions. And all of which were not lost on the majority of Japanese people who were too servile to stop the Keiretsu and Power classes from taking the country to war.
Crude examples, perhaps. But we should not, for a second, fail to turn someone's religion or their belief system against them if they are using their religion or beliefs as an excuse to attack and kill, maim or subdjugegate others. Period. That is the very core of psychological warfare. Attack the mind before attacking the body. But attack both. As Sherman said (the General, not my cat)... War is Hell. The faster it is over and done with, the fewer people suffer and die. Prolonged wars extend the pain and kill more people. No-holds-barred total war gets things done and lets the rebuilding begin. If using someone's religion against them ends the fireworks faster, then by all means do it. Stop pussyfooting around and playing by Marquise de Queensbury rules. Fight to win with every weapon possible, including religion. Period.
So, Veer, I don't think we should rain bacon on those who are different from me or you. I do think that if it is an option for more-effectively destroying an active and sworn enemy and, ultimately, a corrupt ideology, then I am all for it. Religion is not our enemy. Those who pervert it are. And those who follow those perversions are the cannon fodder. And whatever it takes to stop them from doing their evil and doing it in the name of religion... then do it.

P.S. One of my best friends in college... and a fraternity brother... was Sikh. We pledged together, in fact, We had some long and interesting conversations on Sikhism as it was novel to me... an atheistic kid from the whitest state in the nation. And of all the religions I've seen then or since, it impressed me the most. The warrior tradition and, most importantly, the fact that Sikhs are not allowed to prosthelytize or 'recruit' or force/demand conversion was the biggest thing that stuck and impressed me. In a world where building the flock means racking up power, wealth and influence... learning about a religion that requires people to find their way into the fold was refreshing. And spoke highly to the value of Sikh's belief systems, history and culture and the value that Sikh's place on the faith they have built. YOU had to want it. They didn't want you. But if you wanted their belief system, they were there for you I've met many others over the years in tons of roles, from business to engineering, to police departments to military units (and, yes, pumping gas on the NJ turnpike and running motels and mini-marts...). And they are solid, humble, educated, soft-spoken and tier-one family people and I'd be proud to be friends with any of them. So if you think that I lump you or anyone from the Sikh's faith in with a perverted slice of Islam simply because of a head-covering.. you could not be more wrong. And anyone with a half a synapse firing knows the difference. And those too stupid to recognize the difference should not bother you, my friend. Because they are not worth listening to. Now, get back ambulatory so we can go shooting one of these days! I promise, the bullets I bring for the Martini will be lubricated with Alox... acceptable to everyone!
