Anybody have any experience with the IBA Super Grade Chandler Sniper in a 6.5x284? I just got one and it looks very nice. I have a TacOps Tango 51 I really like but wanted to try the 6.5x284.

Just to make sure I didnt read your post wrong, you have already bought the rifle, and now want to know if its going to be good? Or are getting ready to?

IBA is finishing up a build for me this week. All of Norm's rifles are rock solid shooters. We actually talked about the 6.5x47, he mentioned that although it was not his choice for a tactical rifle, the several that he had built were super accurate with the right load.

Originally picked this up for my son who wanted a 1000yd rifle, but he decided on a 6.5x55 TacOps that Mike had started for himself.I did get some HSM factory ammo for it to try it out, but the 142smk is seated in case to fit a short action and in this rifle it will have to jump about .1" so not sure how it will shoot. My first choice would be Black Hills, but could not find any. My work load has not allowed me any shooting time.I do plan to try it out though.
