Is anyone really expecting much fom SHOT 2011?

While I have not followed the exploits of SHOT show as much as others here, I have gotten the general impression that it has gone "down hill" or at very least changed focus. That said, is anyone really expecting anything new and startling considering so many products unveiled last year have not come available? Just to name a few:

Schmidt & Bender 3-20x50mm
Schmidt & Bender 1-8x Short Dot
AI AX series
AI AICS models (Savage, M24, and AX)
Hensoldt 4x 30mm AR/G36 optic

Perhaps i'm just hoping a bunch of folks don't take the HK approach: "same 'ol shit, and a few new things that will be out next quarter/this summer......and this time we mean it......even though that's what we've said the last 5 years."

I'm looking to hear more about the AX338 and the THOR suppressor series from AWC. My buddy's going with a USASOC group to SHOT and I seriously considered drugging him and going instead. Lucky sumbitch!

I was WRONG! This year was way better than the last couple years at SHOT. The Sands sucks, but overall thumbs up to the 2011 SHOT Show.

+1 on the comment about the AX chassis. Its been on their website for about a year but not available. If they had a chassis for my 300WM I would buy one today!
