I searched and found numerous guys that shoot very competitively, yet don't fire form. Of coarse I found numerous shooters that do. I would prefer to save the $$ if possible since I have 100 375RUM cases to fire form for my 338 EDGE. Thoughts?

I use my fireforming rounds for practice or local matches. They shoot very well, so dont waste them.

Look at it this way. The only way not to fire form your cases is to load 'em up and put the ammo on the shelf. What fun is that?

My concern was that it might change the harmonics somehow. I didn't want to go through the trouble of loading up a ton of ammo if it changed once they were snug in the chamber.

If I need brass for my 35 Whelen, I fireform from 30-06.

David Tubbs fireforms his brass during competition, and he normally <span style="font-style: italic">wins</span>! Regardless what your opinion of him is, you can't argue with success.
