Is it possible to neck down 6.5x47 to 6 creed with decent results?

Recently decided to move into 6 Creed and have been looking around the web for someone that has tried necking down 6.5x47 Lapua to 6mm Creedmoor. It looks like the necks may end up .01" short after the first fire forming but would that be any reason to avoid the attempt altogether? If I can't find an example of someone trying it I'm thinking there is something I'm missing.

I believe 6.5x47 is 0.020" shorter than creedmoor. Plus you'll lose another 10-15 thou of length when you fireform to blow the shoulder forward. Plus the hassle of fireforming (false shoulder and/or jammed bullets needed). You'll likely have necks that are 0.035" short, plus the cost of fireforming components. Better to just buy 6.5 Creedmoor lapua brass and neck that down to 6mm. Or shoot 6x47.

Was wondering because I knew someone selling some for a pretty good price. Obviously, I'm not to spun up on fire forming. It looked like the shoulder on 6.5x47 is .02 under that of 6.5 Creedmore. I was hoping one could full-length nonbushing size and load up a normal load of 6 creed and use those as training round on plates and whatnot at 5 and in. The length gained during fire forming looked like it would end up just with a COL just.01 short in the neck. I didn't realize it would lose another 10-15 thou of length from the initial fireform. Thanks for the info.
