Is Russia done pretending?

I dunno, I've heard it said that it's just a big currency laundromat, big foreign aid annually that comes back here in other forms as donations toward influence. Enough to make a guy's head spin.
Money goes to Ukraine. Ukraine deposits into a shitbag company like FTX. FTX donates to libtard campaigns.

I’m surprised they seem to think that Tomahawks ain’t vastly outdated and would have any chance against Russian SAMs and their air defense network. The Tomahawk is far too slow and old to get thru S400’s or even S300’s IMO.
Russia has always had a leg up on us when it comes to missiles and rocket engines. They had to, because they knew they could never compete with our USAF. Hence, since the 50’s, they’ve put a ton of effort into their missile programs and that has paid dividends as seen by their hypersonic missiles which we really have no counter for, along with their IADS.
In the same post-industrial USA timeframe (mid-late 70s to present) RUS maintained its R&D and mfre capacities and expanded them. While the USA was throwing them offshore. And in the same timeframe, last 25 yrs especially, companies engaged in industrial business in the USA, they have become bloated with excess middle management and their R&D areas, limited by the prospect of profitability -- which is first not second or third, in priority.

There is a whole other consideration on the subject of educational rigor/quality in either country, same time frame 70s to present.

In both comparisons, our country comes up short. But nobody likes talking about either one. The nearest we get is occasional circus acts regarding college curriculum items. Nobody's got the cojones to say, "education is not about feelings and especially not feelings of victimhood."

The modern western world is rapidly becoming illiterate, it's actually sort of scary to think about.
And very dependent upon others in fragile supply chains. I would not be surprised to learn only 2-3 out of 10K people could feed, water, and know basic first aid, where w/o the modern world they could live longer than their mid 1850's-1900ad kin. And that reality could be but one flick of a switch away.

An improved armored model of a robotic mule has been spotted. It remains to be admitted that Boston Dynamics will never be able to catch up with these technologies from the Muscovites.

yea,the coming collapse that many of us anticipate for any # of reasons is not survivable for most. my guess is that anyone > 50 is done unless they have an established, dedicated, well equipped support structure. that is not a long list. depends on the type of collapse. my bet is after 1 year there will be at most 100 mil people alive. "mad Max" and a "a boy and his dog" will look like luxury vacations.

yea,bet that put more pressure on Putin to get busy.
Disagree, he let it be known behind closed doors what would happen, should those things started flying over Russian dirt. He holds the upper hand with a few aces held back, but the media would have you believe otherwise.

what sites do you guys follow for, hopefully, accurate info? i have been following the military summary. pro Russian but not ass kissing. they do report + Uke moves and successes and seem careful about reporting and confirming Russ wins. they comment on US/Euro stuff but keep that pretty neutral.

To keep it balanced, I watch pro Russian Military summary and pro Ukrainian Willy OAM.

Though, Willy is probably a lot more objective, but is undergoing treatment for brain cancer, so takes the occasional week off.
