Is Russia done pretending?

I do not know who is footing the bill.

If it goes through will be the largest foreign order Saab has received. They missed out on multiple competitions where the F-35 was chosen. As a company they need the sales to stay relevant.

I can tell you who isn't paying for it - Ukraine

the west & especially the ukes may have just opened pandoras box
This is not Pandora's box, but a door into the mysterious mentality of a moscovite.
Every Vanya wants everything to be as before - the Russians bombed the Ukrainians, and they did not respond.
When the war spread home, ordinary muscovite (whose psychotype resembles the Squealer from Orwell's Animal Farm) was genuinely surprised to learned that missiles and drones have the ability to fly in their direction as well . And most importantly a trend began to emerge that their refrigerators are starting to win the battle with televisions.
"All people who are morally sound have known since about 1931 that the Russian régime stinks"
George Orwell

"I live in Kreida, near the house where the car flipped over. I'll remember forever how the car's owner got out and screamed for two minutes, ХО*ЛЫЫЫ! 'HO*LYYYY!' He dragged out the 'Ы' for so long that I felt his pain... He'd probably been saving up for the car his whole life," one eyewitness said.

Meanwhile, there was, naturally, no sympathy from Ukrainians, whose territories are regularly shelled by Russian forces, including from Belgorod. On the contrary, the Russian was immediately met with a wave of well-deserved ridicule.

It seems soon there will be no power left , while hitting Russian rafineries make s for great PR most are back on line in matter of weeks or worst case months , a coal poweplant going up in flames is not going to be restored any time soon

Well on the bright side Ukraine is getting Green transition done , as war brought massive reduction in air polution ,pre war couple of Ukrainian coal powerplants produced more polution than all the German coal powerplants combined. 60's tech with no filtration.
