No mention in MSM because no one has developed a theory connecting it to climate change.
There was an article in 2022 in Nature connecting solar activities with earthquakes and volcanic activities.
USGS has written a refutation saying the stats don’t bear it out.
Both have cycles… esp Ring of Fire. So possible it’s a coincidence of two cycles. But I think the folks in Nature have something to their theory.
Certainly we are getting hammered by the current Solar maximum.
Plus the “pink” auroras showing up way south are supposed to be indicative of a pole flip or shift, which scientists have been predicting g for a while.
Things are getting sporty! Maybe the several hundred year Goldilocks zone we have been in is coming apart!

Only stupid modern folks think that the cycles of the sun and the cycles of the climate on this planet are static and have always been the same and will always be the same.
A thousand years ago people in Europe were leaving warning markers for future generations of the signs of very rough cycles of climate that might happen hundreds of years later or longer.
Remember when the major rivers in capitols across Europe used to freeze solid during winter and folks would party on them all winter long?
Remember when it was warm enough to have lots of farming in what is now under the ice in Greenland?
Winters that never seemed to end
Summers that seemed to be made of pure fire
Drought events that changed the course of history
Civilizations and nations that vanished because of the changes in climate or various events.
All these things have happened before and all these things will happen again.
Folks in ancient history knew a lot more about this kind of stuff than modern folks it seems.

Folks centuries and millennia ago hadn’t figured out how to con trillions of gold out of their serfs. They just pillaged it the old fashioned way.
Well, they did tithe… and get offerings from the peasants To Sun and volcano gods. And cut the hearts out of virgins to make the sun come back. And lots of other unga bunga to bamboozle the serfs out of their labor, kids and gold!
So while the climate change whiners are using new media and have a new angle on things… human nature has not changed “that” much. “Pay me and I’ll make the weather gooder” is ancient bamboozelry!!!
Hummmm… wonder if we can get Al Gore to throw Greta Thunberg into a volcano live on PPV. When she goes “blurp” like Gollum, the planet will cool! Send in your pledges now! We take all major credit cards, pay pal and Venmo!!
