Re: Is there a spotting scope with mrad ranging system

I've seen the vortex razor Hd has an optional eyepiece to do this but its a fixed power and was wondering if there was anything else out there preferably in a variable zoom with ffp if possible/ if it exists. If you are set on a MIL FFP variable there aren't too many within the financial reach - or at least justifiably so, of Joe Average. Leupold Mark 4, Bushnell Excusion Tactical, the USO Fieldscope are what come to mind immediately. Then there is the Hensoldt Spotter 60. Badass but at $5,000.00 its' buku bucks (you get what you pay for but too bad there isn't an angled version).
If you do consider a fixed power MIL reticle aside from the Vortex Razor with its' optional 30X MIL reticle Eyepiece there is also the Optolyth S80 (Angled) HD Compact and it's brother the G80 (Straight Through) HD Compact. The Optolyth HD Compacts run about 50% more than the Vortex HD, but here again, you get what you pay for.
The Optolyth's 30X WA (Wide Angle MIL Reticle Eyepiece also has a rotating reticle, which means that you can orient the reticle and square it even if you rotate the spotter within it's collar. This is a very handy feature to have and should be standard on all reticle-equipped eyepieces. Check-out my review of the <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="font-style: italic">"
