ISO: Interactive Target Video Feed Overlay Software

Hello All,

I am in the process of building a portable remote (3k+ yds) target video camera broadcasting/receiving system. I have most of the components figured out with the help of an A/V expert. What I am looking for is reasonably priced software that will 'watch' my video feed and recognize each time a new bullet hole is made and allow me to mark/color/number the holes or preferably do it automatically for me.

I understand that something similar is in the works at OnTarget TDS, but I would like to find functioning software that is usable now.

I have searched the internet and the forums here with no luck.

I would greatly appreciate any help that someone would offer.

I have not, but it seems that it was never developed further. I cannot find any mention of it anywhere other than the link you provided.

Have you checked with SIUS yet? I don't know if they sell components that would be compatible with your system, or how affordable (or not) they might be, but they could be worth looking into.

Thank you for more information. I have looked into SIUS, but they are not only on much larger scale, than my little project, but they use impact vibration sensor technology. I am looking for overlay video software that can be used with most any paper target and live video input.

I will keep looking.
