Short config is 7 dB louder at SE vs. the long config.
A flat cap is not included or sold separate because it's a silencer part-- see the Magnus thread for discussion.
You wouldn't want to shoot it with a flat cap anyway, less than half the recoil reduction of either braked config.

7 dB is a lot on the other hand so is 4 inches and 12 ounces.

What is your anticipation of how often people will select one configuration over the other?

I’m asking because my 50 Cal barrel is 40 inches long to start. However, it is on a Desert Tech, so this just might work.

The long config is the best to shoot. I think people will use that one.
