It's bugging me, can't identify this rifle...

No, the world isn't going to end, I'm just a curious mind and I can't figure out what the hell this rifle is haha. Picture was taken from a recent firearms magazine with no mention of it in the article (they were only talking about the sight on it).

Look familiar to anyone?

After using google-fu it looks like the Galil Ace 21.Look at the top rifle.

Looks like a Galil or Sig SG556. I'm leaning towards the Galil. At any rate .... it's hard to tell. Could be the same situation as the proverbial AK-47 & AK-107 head scratcher.

It is indeed the Galil Ace. Without a doubt, not even close to the SIG.

What you are thinking is the ejection port is a groove in the bolt carrier itself. If you watch this video you can see it @ ~30 seconds in:

Also I agree with those above who say its a galil ace.
