Found this last night--in my PPU 7.62x51 brass(I realize 308 is 308, but this was from 7.62x51 rounds, and I do have 'true' PPU 308 stamped brass) bullets were having copper shavings nicked off. It was small, but a bit alarming. I noticed the other brass was not doing this--it was all once fired brass through various rifles. Very tiny flakes/shavings.
Anyone else seen this? Is it a warning sign I should be wary off? I've already throught of going to mandrels as I got 'good' brass for my bolt, while this brass mainly serves my gassers as it gets beat to hell.
