Man take the chance of you car staying afloat or getting on a pallet that will be swept out to sea was my thought. All in a cold enviroment, absolutely crazy with no time to really run or do anything.

I wonder if this was a camera that they found amongst the debris, or if someone posted it from their experience?
At any rate ... I think the lady who hopped out to run for safety had the right idea.

I would take the car over being in the water the car offers some protection from all the debris in the water.
