Jard Trigger for Magnum Ruger Precision Rifle

I just picked up a Ruger Precision 300 PRC. I ordered a JARD trigger to replace the factory trigger. I spoke with the guys at Anarchy Outdoors today to ask about other single stage options. They informed me there wasn't a trigger replacement for the magnum frame Ruger Precision Rifle yet. Well, none they were aware of. They were not very familiar with the JARD triggers. I spoke with the folks at JARD today and was told they were not familiar with a difference in the triggers for the Magum actions.

My JARD trigger will arrive tomorrow. JARD said go ahead and try the install, if it doesn't work send it back for a refund. I'm fine with that. I guess I'm simply fishing for information on here for anyone that's done this already. Has it worked? Will it work? Any tips or tricks you are willing to pass on? Will I be wasting my time? Is the JARD a worth while trigger system for this rifle?

Yes it did work. The safety takes some working to get it to clear. It also takes a good deal of working to get it to work in for reliable, safe operation. Overall. I'm pleased with the trigger. I'd make the purchase again.

This is an old thread but I just asked the exact same question... Mine's not a magnum (6.5CM) and I've been shooting it (and progressively upgrading it) for a little over 2 years now. I wanted to try the trigger next.

RPR trigger choices - JARD triggers?

I'm really getting comfortable with my RPR and confidently hitting targets out to 1000yds (man sized IPSC steel) but I'm thinking of upgrading my trigger (I'm still shooting the factory trigger, which honestly isn't bad) and choices seem a little limited. Obviously there's Timney and I know...

What's your opinion of the trigger since then? Any new thoughts versus others like the Timney?
