First, I know that I am way over thinking this....

But has anyone ever used a flat wire + CTS aktive buffer combo? I can't find much info on this.

I am building a lightweight, hunting, large frame AR that will be shot suppressed probably 95% of the time. I had settled on the SCS then ran into the aktive buffer and thought it with the flat wire may make a really great combo. So just looking to get some info on the aktive buffer. Bonus points if you have used it and the SCS.

For anyone that hasn't seen the CTS aktive buffer its an anti-tilt buffer that is supposed to take any tilt out of the BCG as it cycles. Which in turn is supposed to also make it run a little smoother.

WOW crickets, I’m wondering the same thing. I have several JP SCS so I can’t go back to the spring noise. The reviews of a Tubb flat spring is that it removes noise by itself and it’s recommended for the CTS buffer too. Hopefully the two in conjunction are stellar. Maybe MOLON will do an accuracy test mil-spec vs JP vs CTS aktive some day. I’m curious about the accuracy claim. Point of all this did you try one out?
