Re: JUNE 2010 SH SHORT RANGE RIMFIRE COMPETITIONS

Let's give her a whirl....

***NEW*** 06/03/2010 - An extra "Support Side" match in addition to the usual match, where if you usually shoot right handed, you shoot it left handed. If you shoot left handed, you shoot it right handed.

When posting -

Match: 25Y-4P SS
Match: 50Y-4P SS

Should be fun and enlightening to say the least!

Re: JUNE 2010 SH SHORT RANGE RIMFIRE COMPETITIONS

Just a quick heads up for the July SH Comps.

I won't be shooting in July as I have other commitments involving my main hobby/sport which is traditional muzzle loading. I'm commited to the Rendezvous (Chadron Fur Trade Days) that I attend each year, and a few ML shoots during this month as well.

So if you wonder why I didn't post a July score - this is it. I most likely won't be on the computer much during July, if at all.

Good luck everyone and shoot lots of X's!

Thanks to all that participated this month, and your input in the learnings thread. Looking at the different styles of rifles and ammos being used both in the short range and long range matches and the tips and tricks shared, it's turning out to be a good source of information. Thanks to JOE MARTIN for starting it last year

Not many shot this month, hopefully July will have a better turnout.

CLODHOPPER definately showed his short range muscle, whatever the sighting system may be. He just got nudged out by "X" count in the support side match by TOP PREDATOR, wtih both being tied at 212.

With the next competition in July, and being the month that marks our Independence, we should give thought and thanks that we can do what we do, and to those that have fought, died, and are still in harm's way to protect our freedom. Happy Birthday America!
