UPS finally delivered my 16" POF-415 upper today. It was dark by the time I got off work so I sighted in the GenIII PVS/4 instead of the day scope. I put the upper on a Bushmaster lower with a PRS stock and Gisselle trigger. Also used a M4/96D suppressor. Bought the upper to get rid of blowback from the DI system.
Sighted in at 50 yards with Black Hills 68 grain. According to JBM, this will give me a 6.4" drop at 300 yards. Gun shoots great. Seems quieter and the bolt/carrier/ammo stays clean. Put 3 shots into .4" CTC. Would have done better if I had a better target. I can't wait to shoot during the day.
Upper looks great overall, the rails are a little on the big side though. I had to adjust my LaRue scope and bipod mount to fit. The ARMS mount on my night vision fit w/o adjustment though.
Probaly going to order a .308 Recon soon.
