As the title states, I just got my new light today. The instructions for removing the battery compartment were terrible, but the product itself is awesome. This light fits perfectly on the rail and locks down pretty nicely. I was quite surprised at the range it can throw the light as well as the great radius indoors. From about 15 feet away, it perfectly illuminates everything in a 15 foot diameter, with a 1 foot very intense beam. I was very pleased with its performance indoors, and decided to give it a try out in the yard. I have a target in the back yard about 60 feet from the door, and it lit that target up like it was in broad daylight! I am very excited to say the least.
Just thought i'd share my excitement with everyone

I have 2 TLR1s, 1 Blackhawk Siphos, 1 Surefire X300. There is a reason why I have 2 TLR1s, they are my favorite!! Especially for the price compared to the Surefire

I'll reiterate what's been said. I have 2 TLR-1's and they have been reliable and effective. Also use 2 of their thin pocket lights for bedside eye exams at work.
Streamlight makes quality products for a reasonable price.

I've had a TLR1 for several years. It's seen tons of action mounted on a 12-gauge Mossy and my M16, absorbing lots of recoil. No failures, it takes a licking and keeps on ticking. Awesome light and awesome flexibility in mounting options.

+1 for the TLR-1s..I just scooped one up on here a few weeks ago and have it mounted on my USP 45..it's solid and throws a great beam..I'll be purchasing another one here shortly

I've had the same experience with my TLR-1s. Much more useful beam than that of my X200 and my Lumamax L2. Easy to mount and detach quickly and the on and off is much better than my X200. Thumbs up.
