Rifle Scopes Kahles k16i 1-6x24 on suppressed AR?

Im thinking about picking up a Kahles k16i 1-6x24 sm2 reticle for my do it all AR. It will be used for target, hog hunting, plinking and SHTF if needed. I've never had a Kahles optic before and I'm just looking for everyone's opinions/thoughts.

The K16 is very popular for 3-Gun, do a little searching on the information superhighway and you'll find a lot of first-person reviews.

Both myself and afriend have K16is and we really like them. My first preference was the SM2 reticle, but it wasn't available anymore and I couldn't find any used. It works acceptably well for very close quarters shooting and excels at short to moderate distances further than that. If you're looking at the one that listed in the classifieds right now I'd say go for it. It's a great price and I would have scooped it up in a heartbeat if I didn't already have one with the G4b.

I picked up the new in box with badger mount in the classifieds for 1400 shipped, it has the sm2 reticle. I didn't think I could go wrong at that price.

The SM2 reticle is discontinued for the US market, we have the SM1 model in stock which is the most popular reticle option that we sell which is still my favorite LPV overall

One of the best, if not THE best LPVOs on the market. I own one and it's better than any other LPVO I've tried. Massive eye box, exceptional optical quality, extremely wide FOV and daylight bright illumination.

You cannot go wrong with the K16i on a do it all AR. Buy with confidence.

I have tried just about everything on my do it all AR build and I am switching back to a LPV, it is the best option in my opinion.

Got one two months ago. The scope should be in a class by itself. Low weight, ultra bright, super clarity, and huge field of view.
No comparison out there.

I mounted it on my rifle the other day but haven't had a change to shoot it yet. It's a great looking optic and should be an excellent replacement for my Ta11 Acog.
