Rifle Scopes Ken Farrell base

I have 3 Farrell ring base, one LA and two short action . never had a problem with running several different Ring sets on top of them .

That does not mean that you get something out of Spec. . One must be (ring or base) is out of spec.
To isolate the problem . I would mount a different Ring set on the Base and see if they wont mount . and likewise I would try to mount Burris xtr signature rings on another Base . then you would know for sure where to point the finger one for the problem .

Stick to known quantities for base/rings.

Badger, arc, seekins, high end vortex (seekins) tps, near, egw, nightforce, sphur.

Burris is chineese made junk like the cheaper vortex. leoupold and even warne makes a bunch of trash. Both are local and I have installed thousands of base/ring scope combos and it's clear which works and which doesn't.

Poorly made bases and reciecers are the biggest issue and why you need to bed the rail if it's needed.

Most people just torque it down which knocks everything out of true and is responsible for lots of internal optic issues due to binding and uneven clamping pressure
