Just wanted to give Kestrel customer service a good word where due. My Kestrel 4500NV AB was having some intermittent issues. I called NK customer service, told them what was going on. I sent it in for evaluation. Joe checked it out and it was working perfectly. (just my luck) I talked to Joe and gave him a little more background info on the issue, he agreed to hang onto it over the holidays to see if he could replicate the issue. (Digital compass was displaying erratic readings occasionally) After repeated evaluations they finally were able to get the unit to malfunction. They sent me out a brand new updated unit plus a free TYR Tactical Carry Case. They went above and beyond what was expected. Kudos to Joe and NK’s customer service department.
