I just had to mention how amazingly satisfied I am with the work John at Keystone Accuracy did for me.

I had John build me 2 RimX barreled actions on Krieger blanks. Both shoot one hole at 50 yards with all match ammo I have tested.

During the build process he was easy to contact and replied almost immediately to any questions I had.
If your looking to do a custom rimfire don’t hesitate to contact him!

What barrels did you go with?

    I have a Krieger6.5 from John and it’s a hammer.

Hard to beat. I mean just look at the 5 RimX barrels I tested in my review thread....The work is done for you, pick your blank and my reamer and buy LOTS of CenterX. End of discussion. Lolol

I have one of their Krieger barrels chambered in 6BR. It’s a cheat code for long range forsure. I would expect nothing less than exceptional work from them.

I got a Bartlein and a Green Mountain from Keystone with the padom reamer. Buddy does not have his Rim-X yet, so the GM has not been shot (that's going to change soon as I'm going to screw it on my gun and try it out!!). The Bartlein is doing great! Shooting SK Biathlon Sport through it. I have not tried Center-X because I'm happy with the accuracy I'm getting out of the SK for NRL22. These groups were all just to break the barrel in and shot quickly without accuracy in mind. It will do better as I'm not a group shooter. Could not be happier with the Keystone barrel though. Anyone having issues with John's has something else wrong with their setup. The barrels flat out hammer. The only change I've made to my action is to put a slight angle on the tensioner as has been discussed on some threads here on the Hide. Ray and the team at Zermatt are doing that on any new actions as they are assembled.

As another testament to the accuracy of the barrel, at our local NRL22 match this past weekend, there was a KYL rack at 50yds with 1", 3/4", 1/2", 1/4" hangers. Start on the big one and move to the small one hit to advance. Start back at the 1" on any miss. If you ever get to the 1/4", you shoot until you miss (go back to 1") or your 10 rounds have been fired. I cleaned the stage meaning I hit the 1/4" hanger 7 times. Only 1 other shooter cleaned it out of the 30+ shooters we had.

I agree with the outstanding quality of Keystone RimX barreled actions. I received mine this week and had 100% reliability in feeding and extraction. My third group shot (below) was indicative of what this rifle can do. I used a Grayboe Renegade stock, Jewell trigger, 24" Krieger Varmint contour barrel, and Padom Match chamber.
