Mcmillan 54.18 blank is where this started. This is a "double lug" 1022 made by Kidd.
I had no archive data on this action so I started by modeling up the receiver. You'll see in the photos where the grunt work was tested first on a piece of 4x4 cribbing. I brought one my rifles in as a sample just to make sure I was on the right track when programming the inlet toolpaths.
Arca rail added, squirt some paint, and get it out the door for Santa Day.
