I'm considering doing a build around this stock. Is it as comfortable and solid as it looks ? I heard some time ago that McMillan is manufacturing these. Looking to place a 700 style action into it.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Very solid, very comfortable, good in all positions. I watched Terry put years of thought and development into it. I love the stock. As always, some shapes and styles just work better for some people, and you never know if it speaks to you until you hold one, but it is a very good stock. If you don’t like it, resale is easy.

Thanks :)

Excellent stocks. I tried one, thought I didn't like it, and then bought an AI (similar feel), haha. So it grows in you some. My only real gripe was there's no good place to rest your thumb if you don't grip it by wrapping your thumb around the back (same issue with AI chassis). I prefer the feel of a traditional stock (A5, T2/4, etc) overall, but wouldn't pass up a Sentinel at a good price, if I needed another stock.
