What's everyone's take on these. I have a CMC trigger to go in my new build. I have a set of the dog bone style but the pins are to short(previous owner ground them down)Anyone know where I can get a replacement set of pins only. I've seen the standard KNS AR pins but not a threaded set for sale.

I don't think I've ever seen KNS sell the pins separately. But you might give them a call, they may help you out.
I like anti rotation pins in two kinds of lowers. Full auto lowers, and lowers with slightly oversize pin holes. On full auto lowers, they are there to prevent any possible wallowing out of the holes, since the lower is basically irreplaceable. On lowers with oversize holes, it can fix trigger issues.
Otherwise, it becomes are purely cosmetic issue. A properly installed trigger group will not let the pins walk out under recoil.

The CMC is a one piece drop in unit that has to have some type of trigger pins to keep them from falling out.
The whole kit is about $27 at CTD, don't know that you'd save a whole lot getting just the pins if you can find them.
I went ahead and stuck them in my DPMS couple years ago, at the time it seemed like that receiver might become irreplaceable at any time. Something to think about.

The pins are great for a select fires and should be mandatory on pistol caliber ARs as they tend to be really harsh on the pins. (At least in the case of the DDLES block mag lowers).
