I currently have a trg22 and a beanland custom in a Jae-700 chassis. I much prefer the ergos of the trg and find I'm a lot more comfortable behind it vs the j Allen. Is there any reason to not swap out the jae chassis for a bravo and use the extra money for upgrading optics?

I'm finally signed up for my first prs match and just wanted others opinions of maybe the Jae offering something helpful for prs that the bravo doesn't.

Thanks

Apples to oranges comparison. Go with whatever feels more comfortable, but the JAE will always have a better fit and finish. I own a JAE and a KRG X-Ray. Both are good chassis, but they are in totally different leagues.

I already have the JAE and its very impressive fit and finish, I just prefer the ergos of the TRG which the bravo mimics.

I was just making sure there is no reason other than ergonomics to keep the jae for prs type matches.

Never handled a JAE (on the lookout for one) but I did get a Bravo given all the good reviews. Just wasn't for me - felt cheap and not what I wanted so returned it. Can't imagine you'd find it up to the JAE.

For the price, the Bravo is an excellent chassis. Bought one for the wife's rifle, and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and ergonomics of the chassis. Seems pretty damn comfortable. KRG does a great job supporting their products, you can kit out a Bravo pretty good with all the accessories they make for it.

2 out of the 3 rifles that I personally own wear a JAE chassis. I love JAE chassis', and wouldn't replace them for anything. I find them to be the comfiest out of all the stocks and chassis' out there. unfortunate to hear that it's not for you.

I say try the Bravo, you may be pleasantly surprised. I've never been behind a TRG, so I can't compare the two.
