L3i barrel o Lilja CZ 457 questions

I've been looking around at aftermarket barrels. Trying to decide between L3i and the Lilja barrels. I won't be shooting match grade ammo all the time. From a little searching, it's been said the L3i barrels aren't as picky about ammo as the Lilja barrels. Does this sound about right or, was I reading misinformation? Also, will either one or both fit the standard Varmint factory stock with a little work? Thanks!

The L3i will require modification of stocks. The lilja will fit it almost all CZ standard barrel channels.

I’ve only shoot match ammo so can’t comment on pickyness of barrels.

I have a Lilja and it shoots most anything fairly well. I think when it comes to barrels being picky it’s more about whether it shoots .1’s -.3’s or .3’s to .5’s at 50 yards. Granted, the really cheap stuff will shoot more than 1 MOA at 50 yards.

It’s not much work to fit the l3i in a stock if you’re handy with sandpaper and a 30mm pipe. It’s really all about balance, if you’re thinking about trying some prs go for the l3i. The fat barrel weighs 7lbs and looks great too.

That’s really nice. I didn’t think those would fit the MTR stock without removing a lot of wood.

I think I’m going to have to get me one of those front rests, that looks old school rustic.
