Labradar aiming sight

I actually use a plastic building square off Amazon. Hold against flat front of LR and aim at target. But you need something for sure. Aimed and aligned in seconds.

Kind of a no brainer @ $4.92 shipped

Im more of a clean low pro looks..just got my labradar and installed aiming sight and still havent tried it and dont really care much about how it looks.

The ballpoint pen barrel thing works fine. The longer and straighter the barrel, the better it works.

I actually gave that up (after losing my sawed-off barrel) in favor of just setting a pencil or similar in the aiming slot and sighting down the length of it. Usually, this method has given me 5-bar return signal readings on .22s almost every time.

I dont bother with any additional sight, I just step back a few feet and aim through the V notch and it works fine.
You cant tell how aligned you are when you are right up on the labradar but from a few feet back it works better.

The builder's square works well but just another thing to forget to bring when you go shooting. So bought the MK sight. Compact and inexpensive. Works to.

I alway had trouble to sighting mine in. Seemed to be hit or miss unless and I used something. For me, anything was better than the built in sight on the Labradar.

Is this a MUST upgrade for your labradar?
I don’t think it’s a necessity at all. Just sit back from the aiming slot as far as you can as it helps line it up. If you’re still having trouble, just pick up a cheap triangle from your hardware store or Amazon and use it to extend the sighting radius.

Once I learned to set mine up, I can honestly say it’s never dropped a shot. I found that it is more sensitive to barrel position then to sighting. If you do buy an upgrade, I would get a battery pack as I think it enjoys the flavor of batteries.
