Lanolin inside case?

Was tumbling and wanted to season my media faster.
Since I hadn't gotten any sizing wax in the walnut media yet decided
to add some unused lanolin and alcohol mix I had left over, allready had some
Nu finish / spirits in it but was not yet producing the result I wanted.

Is lanolin considered a wax or grease?
I normally build up a nice layer of wax on my brass.

Any side effects?

I can feel when the lanolin is not all the way removed on the brass and needs to tumble more. I don’t like any appreciable amount of friction modifiers on my brass going into my chamber. I want it dry. It’s easier to be consistently dry than slowly building up layers of goop on the cases and chamber wall.
