Rifle Scopes Larue Base & Seekins Ring - Does The Finish Match?

Re: Larue Base & Seekins Ring - Does The Finish Match?

Adrian,

It's a tactical rifle, not a handbag and shoes. Collars and cuffs have to match only on blondes and redheads, not rifles

Krylon the whole thing camo and it won't matter.

That being said, the Seekins finish is a little smoother matte than the Larue...but not by much.

Why not just buy the Seekins base and rings together?

Larue is top notch. I have two SPR 1.5's for my AR's and I cant express how pleased I am with them. I belive you will find the Larue 700 base is aluminum with steel inserts and not a steel base. Call Mark to verify this. There is nothing wrong with a Larue base but if you are expecting steel and you don't get it don't flame Larue Tactical.

That's why I use Winchester primers to match my brass and use bullets with the same finish (no Amax's for me, the red messes up the color scheme). I heard this makes super accurate loads...

Doesn't matter how accurate it is, so long as you look FABulous.

Obviously looks are huge otherwise Hornady wouldnt of made this. Its the exact ammo as their police version TAP. Exact same powder and bullets, and same gun zero... apparently looks drive an entire market.
