Re: latest purchase POF

Looks good. You going to load or shoot factory? Love mine, especially since I put a PRS and Gieselle trigger on it. Enjoy the new gun! Interesting scope...has some history I expect. Was it used in the IDF?

Re: latest purchase POF

I just bought one last week with the 16.5" barrel and have'nt mounted the scope yet...I got a Luppy 3.5x10.40 MK4 ILLM TMR for it and can't WAIT to ring it out! Bad part is I have a walleye trip to lake erie the week of memorial day so it will have to be a safe queen for a little bit! I see you wasted NO time on the paint! I can't bring myself to do that unless need be!(SHTF) You guys with these please let us other POF owners know your setup and ESPECIALLY what your range results are. I had a conversation with Cody and he said these rifles will prefer the 168s and 155s over the 175s. When I get up and running I will run alot of load test as I load my own and will also run some factory just for giggles. Good luck with your rifle and keep us posted!

Re: latest purchase POF

Shoot some FGMM or TAP 168s. I bet you'll be happy. I have had 2" groups with my POF and standard factory ammo, then shot 1/2" 5 shot groups with the match grade stuff. I will say if I am off my groups suffer. I shot my reloads this past weekend and got some 1.5" groups and thought something was wrong. Then my 16 yo daughter shamed me and said "let me try dad," and proceeded to put 5 shots in a 3/4" group!

Sorry. I didn't check back on the thread until today. There were some guys shooting F class practice at the range so I used one of their targets and shot down from them. The guy in the pit pulled mine after every five shots and every group was sub-moa. Just going off what he said. I didn't go out there expecting to shoot it that much and I didn't get the target after. I was there for some IDPA practice.

Re: latest purchase POF

Hey reddirt78, thanks for the links....I will check them out for sure! I am surprised you guys are starting with bergers... They usually dont shoot that well unless cramed in the lands and they is NO way it will make it through a magazine! I am starting my load work with sierras and hornadys then lapuas if I dont get what I want.....I am betting I will though! For powders, I have TAC, Varget, XBR 8208, RL15 and I may pickup some 4064.

Re: latest purchase POF

I have a question for you POF guys since they're not at your typical gun store. Are the MSRP's on their website the price that the average Joe pays or are they law enforcement/active/past duty prices? Just curious before I go chasing after one and get sticker shocked!

Re: latest purchase POF

I have had 2 POF. The first was astoundingly accurate and the second was very good. Both were heavy, and I am a rather wimpy fellow so that was a drawback. But I got spooked when that super slick interior coating started coming off. So I moved on to other stuff.

Thanks. Those folks seemed to be all that came up on a search of gunbroker. Someday I'd like to have a rifle like their SBR in full auto or with the three shot burst. I was wondering if those rifles were available to the general public if one went and did all the class 3 paperwork and was approved, or if they only sold to law enforcement. I don't personally know anyone with class 3 stuff, and there are only a few dealers around the area that are capable of selling the guns, so resources are limited. I really like the POF SBR for now....

Re: latest purchase POF

My Rifle got stuck in a snow storm in the fed extruck for a few days when I was ordering it. I called Felix up and asked him it it was insured and he said "Sure is buddy! A nuclear explosion could go off and the rifle would be vaporized and you would still get another one!"

I cracked up laughing! Felix is a cool cat!

I just bought a new one (P308 with rail) from my local dealer in western Ky. and paid $2219.00 before tax.
