Range Report Lawton 408CT

I bought 20 rnds. 419 Jamison loads to see if I liked them. This is for my 408 from Lawton I got 2 wks. ago. 3 to sight in at 100. 7 at 519 yds.Four of the 7 were all over. The other 3 did not fire. This was Wed. Cleaned it and returned to 519 for the other 10 ends. 9 fired. 7 grouped 4.24 in. 2 wild.Love the rifle. The quality of the ammo does not match its price.

I'm not in the market for a 408 but my father is, was the issue the gun or did it run fine with other ammo previously?

no previous ammo. Never been shot. new rifle. Lawton out of business.
