ok, i searched but didnt find a solid answer yet. so i'll ask away here. i have a bunch of LC LR brass that im going to use in my .308. i have a few handfuls of different dates but mostly 07. question is, will i notice a big difference in POI or anything else if i just go ahead and load up some rounds with mixed date stamps? it is all LR brass, so how much of a difference will i notice at say, 600-800 yd's?

Re: LC LR brass date stamp question

I haven't used LC LR but my M80 brass all from the 2000's doesn't show any noticable difference. The m80 from the 80-90's shows difference though

Re: LC LR brass date stamp question

It's hard to say, probably not much. What I would do is load one of each year and take them out and shoot a group with them, if they group well I would go with it, if not try a group with the same year brass and see if there is any difference compared to the first group.
