Rifle Scopes Leatherwood base?

Anyone used a Leatherwood one peice steel "Max-Tac" scope rail? It could be going on my Savage 10FCP-K

I got one from a friend....Is it worth mounting? Or should I buy a Badger.

It looks decent, but I haven't mounted it yet.

Mount it up. If it works, then keep it; if not, then there are several other options.
