Phil Michelson won his first Claret jug today. He was on FIRE. He came from behind to win.

I was able to watch Phil's back nine (on TV). Guy played his ass off, I don't think anyone deserves it more. Phil will go down as one of the greatest ambassador of golf of all time.


Only a couple hundred more points to catch Woods in the points. GO LEFTY!!!

Phil is a great guy. I went to the practice round of the US Open as a kid and followed him around. He saw my brother, sister, and me, came over and talked to us. Then he played 3 different balls on that hole, signed them, and came over to give them to us. He signed our programs and talked to me a bit, since I was playing in junior golf tournaments by then. I have hated watching him fall out of contention in so many tournaments over the years, but he never seems to lose his cool and get really pissed off. It's something I really admire about him.
