As I can find no mention of the suspects name color or race I’m wondering g if we won’t soon find out he is from Middle East and a recent invader? Just speculation.

The good news is church security shot him almost immediately and someone outside the church at least attempted to run his ass over. -don’t be sheep when faced with an attacker.

It's a sad state of the world that you need to be armed in church these days. You only have to look overseas to see Christians/Catholics getting slaughtered while at church.

So being armed and proficient is actually showing loyalty to God and the forces of good, because one is being a vigilant actor instead of sitting around hoping for a heavenly miracle. I am "security" at our small, rural church. I open carry more as a visual deterrent more than anything else. I sit in the back by the entrance when I'm not up giving the communion meditation or occasionally sharing the message for the day.

Our pastor also loosely conceal carries his duty weapon (he's an LEO by day).

Even if one of us aren't present for the day, the other one is.

One of the reasons why I volunteered to be the armed church security is that there were a handful of little old ladies and men that carried little pocket guns in their purses and coat pockets already. I did not want them to all stand up and engage everyone in a crossfire should some sort of attack occur. The only way that everyone was comfortable leaving their carry guns at home was if it were me carrying in their place. I'm fine with that.
