Leica 2700B Reticle Bleed over

Hello, I just received my Leica 2700B cry and had a brief chance to play with it. The current weather here is overcast and raining on and off. I noticed while ranging darker back around, I can see led bleed over around the reticle and the distance displayed. Has anyone else experienced this? The instruction manual is vey basic and I do not see a setting option to adjust the led brightness.
