I'd have to say if it's as good as their .308 Tactical rifles you can't go wrong! I'd just want to be sure they use a good Break on it as 338LM will kick your Ass! Also, if you're not familiar with the ammo check the prices. It generally sells for $6.00 a round!!!
I almost bought one about 6 months ago. It was a member here selling it and I sent him a low offer that he accepted but I had to go away from the computer and another member bought it for the asking price before I saw that he accepted my offer. Lucky for me because I wouldn't have been able to afford to feed it!

I cannot comment on the 338 version of the HS Precision but I can say that owning two of their guns, they leave little to be desired. Mine are both very well put together and extremely accurate.I would think that you would be looking at the same in the 338.
