So there has been A LOT of Great .260 Rem and 6.5 Creedmoor Builds lately. I've been searching for a dedicated Picture/Build thread but didn't find one, so I'm hoping we can start one. With Pictures/Specs/Builder/Load Info if possible.

Here's mine.

This was my First Ever Bolt Action Rifle started life as a Remington 700 Short Action SPS Sporter Pencil Barrel .308.

Specs Are:
Remington .260 Shilen Select Match Barrel 24" Fluted 1 in 8 Twist
Bushnell HDMR 3.5-21x50mm G2DMR Ret (First Gen 5 Mil/Rev)
Seekins Precision 34mm Low Rings
Weaver Tactical 20MOA Base
Factory Tuned Trigger
Choate Tactical Stock with Adjustable Length of Pull
(Fully Bedded the Entire Length/Fore end all the way down the Barrel Channel) Also Replaced the Sling Swivel with QD Cups to use TAB Gear Sling with QD Connect, this is actually the closest stock I can find that "feels" like my TRG22 Stock which I like a lot.
Badger Bottom Metal Cerakoted OD Green with 10 round Alpha Mags
KRG Bolt Lift in OD Green to match the Bottom Metal.
Harris S 6-9 Bipod to finish off.

Here's some Pics, Let's see Yours!

I just recently getting into Reloading so I don't have a load cooked up for it yet. But with Black Hills and Lapua 142 Match Ammo Her best group was .371, so far less than 300 Rounds down the tube.

VERY nice looking set-up Hogtooth5R! That HDMR seems to be a very nice fit. I've got a long way to go to get to 100 posts, so I'll gladly join in here:

My LEFTY 6.5CM thanks to Accurate Ordnance (SWFA 5-20x mounted in Seekins rings):

Ha What's Up Clay!!! Glad you can Join in! I thought you sold the Premier? That's a Sick Stock Pattern Bro, What's the Mix on the Stock? I'm Really Digging the Nice Clean Look!

I sold ONE of the Premiers!!!!!
The stock is 1/3 tan, 1/3 olive drab, and 1/3 red. The red stands out a little more in person but not too much.

LOL...Wish I could say I had more than One Premier Glass. What did you end up replacing it with?

Cheers Hogtooth5r! I was shopping around for a chasis, and the AI was about the only thing available in a lefty at the time... That made the decision easy for me. I didn't get along too well with the thumb-hole on the original AI skins, but the pistol grip on the viper skins is working out great. Those AI's are heavy -but I like heavy: less recoil, more stable... If your 16" gun is a light gun (and you want it to stay that way) the AI might not be your best choice... But like I mentioned, the extra weight is working out good for me...

Just got this in about 3 weeks ago but I have already put her to work at the Bushnell Brawl. Jamie Dodson at Wolf Precision built this rifle and not only was he a pleasure to deal with, but his rifles are hammers and the fit and finish is excellent. .25 MOA with lapua brass, 140 Bergers, and H4350! The BAT action is the slickest action I have ran to date and functioned flawlessy during the Brawl even with tons of sand and muck all in the raceways and lug recess. I think Jamie/BAT hit a home run with this new tactical action. Here are the specs...

-BAT Tac Action
-Bartlein MTU @ 26" 1-8" Twist chambered in 260 Match with Surefire Brake
-Manners T4-A Mini Chassis
-Schmidt and Bender 5-25 PMII MSR MRAD
-Badger Rings
-Jewell Trigger
-Atlas Bipod V8
-Kryptek Typhon Hydrodip on stock

Thanks brotha! Im so glad I didn't have to sell it. Speaking of, if you remember I was selling it to fund IVF for my wife and I. Well we lucked out and insurance is paying for most of it and we actually completed the embryo implant today, it's been a LONG 5 months but so worth it. Probably gonna be a dad soon :)

Pusher,

Oh, I remember! I lost sleep thinking about buying that rifle! It's amazing the ups and downs these rifles go through.

On a bigger note, CONGRATS! I wish you and your wife the best of luck! If you ever need a babysitter for that rifle let me know!

Oh my Gosh! Heck YES!!! Dude How you Been Man?!?! Are you back home yet or still serving over seas??? Man everytime I see one of these KRG Whisky 3 Chassis I think about the one I sold You...I can Honestly say now that I am at Complete Peace with selling it off cause I can Definitely See it being in MUCH Better Hands and Put to Good use.

That is a SICK RIFLE DUDE!!! Everything about it is Exotic!!!

Any room for the 6.5x47 caliber ? I gathered up the parts and had a local smith put them together. Bighorn action , Bartlien barrel , Rifle basics trigger and Manors T5a stock . Very nice light recoil with the Mrad brake. First five rounds with factory ammo doing the shoot clean break in.

PS I need to find a color to match the factory paint for touchup.
