Does this count....not self-propelled but...its my buddy's hunt wagon.

Bit of a story...for the last 20 years this was our decoy trailer to haul big feet and silo's out to the goose pit behind a really ancient John Deere. Well, two things happened.....first, the socialist state of Maryland cut both our season in just about half and reduced our bag limit to one per man while the farmer wouldn't get off of any of the money he wanted and; 2) my friend did a really idiotic thing resulting in him falling out of a tree stand, catching his leg in the ladder, and now he has zero ligaments and tendons in his left knee.

So, we gave up the pit and my buddy rebuilt our trailer into a transportable box blind for deer that he can kind of limp in to. I think its kind of cool.

Kind of an update. Tomorrow morning I will see if I can deal myself into a Tacoma.

Laugh all you want , I can get into places that 4 wheelers wish they could go . 4 wheel drive and a 2 cylinder Mitsubishi deisel . And it doesn't get any easier loading a deer with a 3 point hitch and a dirt scoop.

Mine currently. 2014 TRD Sport with some mods. Have not owned another vehicle as long as this one, going on eight years currently. And I have no desire to get anything else at this point. Although being supercharged and 325hp/375tq doesn't hurt.🤠

Set of 5 General Grabber x3 's on the way. 285/70R17. Moving up to 33's from the stock 31. Trim kit is ordered for the fenders. Time to save my pennies for a regear and tune. Every time I think I'm done f7cking with the truck, I find something I "need" to have... ETA pic for reference....

Got new shoes in today. Need to trim the front fenders a tad before they go on. Oh, and fuck that guy @BridgerMT.

I remember the magazine review on the IH Scout with diesel. Around 1980-81 IIRC. They said the only thing this was good for was "pulling bulldozers out of bogs". Always wanted one.
"Only good for pulling bulldozers out of bogs." Sounds like the reviewer was short-sighted.

When new, they had a Nissan straight turbo 6 that was designed for water pumps and boats. IHC had a 1.5 inch exhaust with two 180s in the piping…. 0-60 in 25 seconds! This one has original engine with a turbo compressor housing off a Mercedes 300D and three inch straight pipe exhaust. Definitely makes it more road worthy but never a speedster. Only thing you have to watch is EGTs. Never run over a 1000 and pistons melt and head warps at 1200. New heads have to be ordered from Japan or Australia.

I had a friend with a 70's model Saab that had the tractor engine in it. Ran like a scalded ape. He outran the police one evening, just because he could. He got in trouble but he had some bragging rights for decades.

My first rig was a Trooper. If it was a manual I would have had it much longer. Went to a K5 blazer shortly after that with a SM465 4 speed 😁
