Letting "Non-Violent" criminals out of prison.

If they brought back the death penalty there wouldn't be over crowding .
Edit : If the father had a gun he could have saved the taxpayers money .
We have the death penalty. We even voted to expedite the appeals process.

King Big Daddy Gavin Newsom did an executive order to not carry out any more executions.

I am okay with them letting any drug violation out of prison as long as they weren't also violent criminal acts involved. The war on Drugs and the Clinton Crime Bill destroyed our rights and a goodly portion of a certain segments of our population.

In general, I agree. There are some drug offenders who are imprisoned because they were involved in criminal organizations etc, but they have no previous criminal convictions.

Now, say, due to the government failing grandma and her social security/medicare/swamp which caused her to mule half-a-key in order to pay for her insanely overpriced diabetes meds....

Yes, she gets out.

The only problem with that is, they sit on death row for 30 to 40 years and we're still paying for em! I say, "ya got 6mo. and you'd better have a good attorney, or lights-out!" Mac:)

After witnessing whats been going on the Justice over the last 10 years I dont trust them to administer the death penalty. The justice system is corrupt as fuck. From the top down, I want them disarmed actually. Scum bags that they are.

Yes, exactly. Around these parts there has been too many cases of people convicted of rapes and murders eventually proving that they were framed by DAs and cops that just wanted a win number to help their political career. There is at least one person that was executed where there is still a lot of questions about if he actually did it, or was railroaded because the investigators didn't want to do any work.

Then let’s start with the cases where the gun is in the hand of the shooter and the body is still warm. Worry about the potentially fabricated ones later. Plenty of stories on the news where there shouldn’t be a defense and little likelihood of it having been a frame job.

Bring the gallows back. Prison is just a warehouse for evil that needs to be purged. There are plenty of instances where an undeniable pattern of bad behavior or irrefutable evidence exists.

For some it's not a deterrent its a vacation.

Also law treats rich kids drugs differently than poor kids drugs . First lot go to rehab spa retreat second get mandatory minimum sentences that are quite high

Or like in case of ''extraordinary bussinesman'' Hunter Biden , even crack doesnt get you jail time.

I totally agree. The rich folk have always "had it easy" and the federal crime bill passed under Clinton in the mid-90's did nothing but exacerbate the issue as it pertained to the desperate sentencing guidelines with federal violations.

With current "criminal justice reform" trends, it seems like we're going the polar opposite of that.... Causing too many to be let out or otherwise sentenced very lightly for pretty serious crimes.

There's gotta be something in the middle.
