Rifle Scopes Leup XV-R optics

Re: Leup XV-R optics

I was able to handle a couple last month, in a convention hall under artificial light.
Initial impression was that they look VXII-ish in the glass. The illumination is interesting and very bright. Looks to be daytime visible but not 100% on this. The models I looked at were duplex rets with the red dot in the center.
3-9x50's IIRC.

30mm tubes with digital illumination control opposite the windage knob, euro-style ocular focus.
From what I saw, they look to be a decent choice for a hunting rifle at their price point (@$500) with illumination.

Re: Leup XV-R optics

They look decent enough to me. If you're in the market for a 30mm illuminated hunting scope there you go.

I like zeiss conquest stuff more than the leupold offerings but they don't have illumination and may or may not be pricier than those vx-r ones.
