Re: Leupold 34mm MK4 M5 locking turret feedback
I love mine. I went with the H27 though over the TMR, Mil Dot, or H58. I had the H58 in the HDMR, and found there was alot of stuff on it that I dont use.
Clarity is very good. I really dont mind the locking turret, as stated above I mainly use holdovers. Durability wise, I would have to say it is "Built like a Brick Shithouse!" Comparing it to the NF I would give the nod to the Leupy. I have found that the parralax is extremely forgiving on the Leupy.
I really dont mind running below max power, as it gives me a broader field of view. Typically when I come off the firing line, my power is set around 16x-18x.
The only thing that I am having trouble with is the eyebox seems a little tight (when compared to other top tier scopes). I am not going to blame this on the scope though, because I am in the process of doing some mounting adjustments. I tried the QD mounts on my bolt gun, and it really threw my height overbore up there. I will update this when I get it on some low rings.
In closing, I would recommend this scope to other people.
