Rifle Scopes Leupold M3 turret removal/changing???

Just got a Leupy with M3 turrets and want to switch out of .223 to the .308. I backed out the set screws.

Silly question-

Now what?

They don't seem to want to twist off or lift off. I don't want to get rammy with it and break it.

Make sure you got all the screws then lift up that's it.

3 screws......than lift off.

As said already, three screws to loosen. Just make sure to back them out a ways, you can't just give them a half turn. I usually back them out till flush with the outer diameter of the knob. HTH
