Leupold Mark 5HD vs Nightforce NX8 vs US Optics FDN-25?

How does the Nightforce NX8 4-32x and Leupold Mark 5HD 5-25x compare with the newer FDN series US Optics? I haven't used a Nightforce in probably 10 years, and my last experience with a "tactical" Leupold was a Mark 4. I do have experience with US Optics, as I have an older SN3 3.2-17, an ST10 10x, and recently picked up an FDN-17 3.2-17x (that I haven't even mounted yet).

Anyone been able to compare all three?

I own a mark v and a friend brought his nx8 to compare. I would run either one. I prefer the Leupold. My eyes aren’t good enough to say the “clarity” was better in one than the other but I did feel the Leupold let more light in for better visibility when zoomed out to max.

I went ahead and ordered the US Optics FDN 5-25x with the Gen II XR reticle...should have it Saturday.

Good choice. The USO is a better scope.
