I have a 4.5-18 MK4HD and have had some issues, first sent it back right out the box for misaligned dial marks and they got that fixed relatively fast and seems good now. I hadn't had my rifle built that this scope was going on till fairly recent so it sat in its box for a few months. Now that I have started the mounting process I haven't been able to get it right, I used all the known methods to mount the scope and if i level the scope based on the turret/housing the reticle is canted roughly one degree and change. If i level it off the reticle with a light/plumb bob the turret/housing is off level. This scope is on a .223 Wylde chambered AR so I don't imagine I will be shooting super long distances, probably would stay within 700 yards so the cant is annoying but not sure if its worth paying for shipping to send this back and maybe having it fixed. I have read on here and various forums that Leupold has an acceptable range of cant in their reticles so they might just not do anything if i pay to send it back. I'm looking for advice on if I decide not to send this back, should I level the scope based on the reticle or turret, I do plan to dial for elevation if that makes any difference.
