Can the MK6 be changed from the B style(pinch) to the C style?

Yes Leupold custom shop can change them.

From memory it was going to cost me 350 NZD so likely cost around 200 USD.

We’re you ever able to get this done? I’ve got a mk8 that could really use the swap. Just wondering about turnaround time.

I had it done a few years ago. It was about $150 at the time but I heard they bumped that up quite a bit since then. Either way, well worth the money. It goes from having unacceptably bad turrets to being a decent scope. I really like the C turrets.

I think I remember when you had that done ha. How long was the turn around then? The B style turrets causes me far more heartache than I ever care to recall.

FYI the custom shop is closed for a reorg. Been that way for 1.5+ months. A little worrisome…I can see them limiting lots of services to cut costs. I don’t think any other scope company does so much custom work.

I think it was only 2-3 weeks. But the first time I dialed up and then back down to zero with the new turret it locked up. They got something wrong with the locking mechanism in the turret. I convinced them to just let me send in the bad turret rather than the whole scope again and the new one fixed the issue. That was a good scope, used it for quite a while. Don't have it anymore.
