Hey guys, i have a little strange issue going on, maybe someone could shed some light on for me. Last night I received a new NF mount to throw on my recent 700 build so i finally got to throw a scope on her (my old Bushnell Elite 3200). I leveled the rifle/scope base then mounted her up, leveled the crosshairs like I always do by setting up a white sheet of paper and using a level to draw a perfect cross in the center, lining up the crosshairs and leveling/tracking it making sure it doesn't cross over. I did this at 3x and 9x. I mounted my bubble level, and it checked out perfect with the tracking of the cross on the wall.
So I figured while i had it set up, i'd check my main rifle (700 AAC) topped with a Weaver 4-20x50 Tactical. Again, leveled the gun according to the bubble level, lined it up with the cross and it traced the horizontal and vertical lines perfectly with no overlapping. Now, onto the issue. When i look through the bushnell shooting off-hand, i still "feel" as if the rifle is perfectly level, and the crosshairs look level. When i do this with my other rifle and look through the Weaver, they look crazy canted!
Any ideas what could be the issue here? When i shoot the AAC, the Weaver tracks perfectly fine, vertical/horizontal are spot on. It only looks off when shooting off hand. Any input?
Bushnell
Weaver
Through pictures and tracking its super level, but behind the rifle the Weaver looks off....maybe i'm just retarded. Thanks for your time.
